Anyone that has been a student of church history will see that God uses ordinary people, but they have different methods. Thank God that we are not all the same. Thank God for diversity.

It makes me think of two mountain climbers, climbing the same mountain from two different sides, both convinced they are the only climbers on the mountain. But you can imagine the shock when they both reach the summit at the same time.

Why should we argue over methods? Let's look at the fruit of the ministry. Jesus said, "Every tree is known by his own fruit" (Luke 6:44). In studying revivals of old, we find that God used different folks with different strokes to get the job done. The sooner we realize this, the sooner we will be able to see the touch of God in others' lives.

To Disagree Without Being Disagreeable Is Not Compromise; It's Maturity

I will be honest with you. There are ministers who I don't personally agree with. But I will tell you I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the hand of the Lord is upon their lives. I rejoice that many lives are being touched by the power of God through their ministries.

You have to be spiritually closed not to see that God is using them, even if you don't agree one hundred percent with their teachings or the way they look at things. If we can agree to disagree, we can all climb the mountain together.
